Message hurt to do that, but is it necessary? I dunno, I'm a paranoid SOB when it comes to detail, especially on something as expensive and time consuming as the build up, and just cuz he mentioned it I'll probably do it anyway LOL. I'll get to sleep at night and wont kick my own ass up and down the road when a HG bloze.


when you get a gasket thats been dimpled, it will take the shape of the heads much better. the problem is, as you heat soak it, the copper tends to conform permanently to the head (GOOD). but for this better seal to "stick" and not leak, you must retorque.

: it's almost imperative. if you don't there is a potential that leaks will develope.

: Mal1ce is doing copper gaskets, but he's o-ringing his heads and block too (way more sealing potential for super high boost applications). Shoot him an email if you desire, but I recommend hitting some sites like Mr Gasket, etc...
